From May 1 to May 5, four Italian Restaurants in Usuki City and Usuki Creative City of Gastronomy Promotion Council held a gourmet fair named "Parma Week", which those restaurants serve dishes using some ingredients made in Parma, Italy. This fair was aimed at promoting Usuki city's project for joining The UNESCO Creative Cities Network with gastronomy. Customers enjoyed those dishes while being explained characteristics of Parma's foods, and their interests at the project increased.

On August 31st 2021, we held a study session about creative cities in the world.
In order to promote our gastronomy, Masayuki Sasaki, an adviser of The Creative City Network of Japan, and those concerned with Tsuruoka City, the one and only UCCN City of Gastronomy in Japan, gave lectures to those concerned with gastronomy of Usuki City.
